Auckland Grammar wins Maadi Cup in the Kellands boat


  Grammar Rowing had its best ever Maadi Cup Regatta winning three Gold and two Silver medals. The U18 4's won the Springbok Shield for the first time and then completed the double by winning the Maadi Cup in the U18 8's final.  The Maadi Cup is arguably the most prestigious sporting trophy in New Zealand secondary school sport. The Auckland Grammar Rowers Continued Success In 2010/2011


The 2010/2011 season started last October with “The Boat Race” a five-kilometer race along the Tamaki River.  Auckland Grammar has won this several times in the past few years and continued this success in October 2010.  It was followed by a BBQ on the banks of the river with the competing crews.   Since then they have competed in Takapuna Grammar Regatta in October, held at Lake Pupuke, receiving medals in all of the age group events and......
